Has anyone ever copied files from a sony ATRAC player to a ps3?

My ps3 can read the player and play the music but wont let me copy it to its hardrive.

Also it when i put an atrac cd in it doesnt read anything on it but knows its a data cd.

Ive already enabled atrac in the system menu so does anyone know what im doing wrong?

be sure that youre not playing music from the player while attemping to copy.

It recognises the player as atrac and can play perfectly but the copy option is greyed out!
