Has The PS3 ever froze on you?

i just got it 2 weeks ago =D

but..it already froze a couple time =(

should i return it? also, i noticed most of the time, it happened while having to do with something on the internet (browsing, online matches, etc.) and when im trying to hook up my motorola headset.

btw, i dont know how to use the bluetooth headset in games. i already registered it on my PS3 too....

mine just froze today (second day of having it) =/

it was loading COD:3

but it's cool, i still love it dearly

my ps3 only froze a couple times while playing oblivion, but that could just be the diskcoldfire0007

LOL thats the only freeze I ever got. And that was like one of the first games I played. I haven't gotten one since. I never heard of a out of game internet freeze, so that may be a problem, although a odd one.

Freezing is better than freezing, getting red lights of doom, and dang near exploding! Ok, well maybe not exploding, but I'm tired of sending off my 360 :'(jubino

I bought my ps3 waaay back in november 2006 and it hasn't frozen a single time in what I can remember.

Mine only freezes when visiting web sites that are not supported by the PS3. Missing flash components or something linke that.

I don't own any games that are known to freeze friquently. Maybe Oblivion but I might even say that it hasfrozen not even one time for me.

The PS3 is known to be 'one stable hell of a console'. There are other products that are freezing because of manufacturing quality

Yeah, a few times. Nothing serious.

If you have the info bar enabled, turn it off. It might be the cause of the freezing.

Once playing Uncharted (well, my dad was playing :P) for about 7-8 hours.

Warhawk caused my PS3 to freeze up on me a couple of times around the time it was launched. I guess a patch was released or it was fixed in the firmware because I haven't had a problem with that game in a really long time. And yes, I play it all the time.

My PS3 will freeze once and while randomly. Uncharted froze on me the other week once...

It happens occasionally, but not often. No big deal in my mind.
