[QUOTE="thageneral3"]before you play in 1080p make sure you do some mushrooms and dont forget to wear those old school 3D glassesGreedy470
oh yeah
with a suggestion like that, my brain would go ka-boom!
On to the topic, i feel bad for you, in about a year and a half, the TVs will become XHD, extreme hd, 1920 by 1200 or more. The resolution is currently availabe for computers but the tv companies are converting them into LCD TVs. Just imagine guys, FULL XHD.......... :o
Killer-X5,
Make sure the games you are playing support 1080p. If they do, go to your resulution settings. Click on HDMI, then select custom. After that uncheck all the lower resultions (except for 480p, cause you can't uncheck that one) until the only one left is 1080p. Start up your game and you should be running in 1080p. One problem though, you will have to switch your settings back to what they were before so they can run 720p games and below.

I am 100% sure the monitor you are currently looking at is running near or higher than 1080p. Why don't you tell us?
WTF, I doubt many people are on a 1920x1080 resolution, I'm betting most are on 1024x768 - 1280x1024.

Agree. 1280x1024 res here.
1080p looks great. I used to get sick with FPS games, but I haven't since I got my PS3. I don't know if it's because the resolution is higher or because the frame rate is higher or whatever. That is the only thing that I've noticed :)EmperorSupreme
yea, same with me. and this is only on a 720p monitor too, i cant wait to trygames on a 1080p eventually.
when i 1st experienced 1080p it was a bit overwhelming and my eyes did hurt a bit. In fact it took me maybe 2 days to get fully adjusted to it...the thing is tho once u experience and get accustomed to it, it is very hard to go back to SD viewing.khalid_byep
