1080p looks great. I used to get sick with FPS games, but I haven't since I got my PS3. I don't know if it's because the resolution is higher or because the frame rate is higher or whatever. That is the only thing that I've noticed :)

No, but I love it when I feel that into a game that I get to feel like I am moving. I need to sit really close to a huge tv like at best buy to a moving shot of a helicopter or something or grass and that gets me most of the time. Keeping your feet planted flat on the ground helps keep ones head from spinning. That trick also works wonders if someone had drank too much and wants the room to stop spinning.

I am 100% sure the monitor you are currently looking at is running near or higher than 1080p. Why don't you tell us?

Heck no! When I first started up my PS3, it was on 480i. I was like"Wow, this is bad"I then tuned it to 1080p and I was like "Oh.....My.....God!!!".

It's so weird. I have a 1080p FULLHDbravia, and when the screen resolution changes it shows the new resolution on the top left. when i turn on my ps3 it says 1080p exactly, and then when i start warhawk, conan, heavenly sword, or any game with a resolution of higher than 720, it only shows 720, ex. warhawk goes up to 1080i but the tv says its at 720. by the way i have $110 hdmi Monster cable. HELP!! ?

On to the topic, i feel bad for you, in about a year and a half, the TVs will become XHD, extreme hd, 1920 by 1200 or more. The resolution is currently availabe for computers but the tv companies are converting them into LCD TVs. Just imagine guys, FULL XHD.......... :o

you get used to it. whats reely horrible on the eyes is going bak to a crappy 480i tv after playing on ur 52' sharp aquos. it makes u want to rip ur eyes out and feed them to ur dogs.

Guys, 1080p is really awesome... I hate playing games on the TV in my room because of the low resolution. It truly rocks my socks playing on a 1080p TV and no, it doesn't make me dizzy or anything similar.

Yeah, 1080p on my 52" xbr is wicked. But for a good look into the future I recommend looking up Super-Hi-Vision just a google search or whatever

Killer-X5,

Make sure the games you are playing support 1080p. If they do, go to your resulution settings. Click on HDMI, then select custom. After that uncheck all the lower resultions (except for 480p, cause you can't uncheck that one) until the only one left is 1080p. Start up your game and you should be running in 1080p. One problem though, you will have to switch your settings back to what they were before so they can run 720p games and below.

its not that it was 1080p that i dissliked...im just not use to the screen consuming all of my vsion. usually i play on 32" and bellow...and so when we played on a 60" 1080 plasma screen...i was just overwhelmed.

when i 1st experienced 1080p it was a bit overwhelming and my eyes did hurt a bit. In fact it took me maybe 2 days to get fully adjusted to it...the thing is tho once u experience and get accustomed to it, it is very hard to go back to SD viewing.

WTF, I doubt many people are on a 1920x1080 resolution, I'm betting most are on 1024x768 - 1280x1024.
