Definatly start with God of war, and look at the PS1 classics for the last little bit of moneydarkspineslayer
I like to save that for taxes :D
Don't forget the wealth of PSOne games... I'm on a kick right now playing more PSOne titles than I am "proper" PSP titles. So naturally I second the motion for "Resident Evil 2", and also "Dino Crisis" which has held up REALLY well... and I stumbled back onto "Command & Conquer" recently. Cali knows all about that trip already.
:P
As far as recent-issue games, I like "Gran Turismo", "Arctic Edge" gets a lot of props... "IL-2 Sturmovik" is a fun arcadish WWII fighter game along the lines of "Secret Weapons Over Normandy" or "Blazing Angels"... I LOVE "Space Invaders Extreme" in small bursts lately, and there is no finer fighting game than "Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX" (cue protests from recent "Tekken" purchasers! Heh heh).
But seriously, look over the PSOne games... you might find a gem like "REEL FISHING" or the first "Crash Bandicoot" still holds a lot of magic... I am WAY into "Command & Conquer", a ton more than I ever remembered being back when I owned a PSOne...
... and they're cheap, don't take up a lot of space (although C&C is almost a gig, but it was a two disc, multi-campaign game so at $5.99, you're getting hours and hours and hours of game for very little outlay), and they are ADDICTIVE!!!

Go on then Ston3 - I'll take the bait...no way SF Alpha Max is better than either of the Tekken titles IMHO
To make the most out of your 50 card you should get GoW:CoO for 20, then get Patapon 1 for 15 (get patapon 2 when you can)
Then get these two miniS from developer half brick- echoes and blast off. Definitely the 2 best miniS available right now.
That should be about 42 dollars right there. Use the extra for a new theme or download a movie.

Har Har Har!!!
Well, I guess my reasoning is the shear amount of characters to learn, all the different modes... It's perhaps not a better fighting game - certainly it's a bit more prolific in it's scope though in terms of things to achieve but then, SF doesn't have to worry about shiny 3D environments and all the other cool stuff a 3D fighter has like side-stepping. I'm sure "Tekken" is good. I used to play it and may still one day pick up a copy for my PSP. I just thought I'd "stir the pot" a bit! No one likes their new title slammed by an ancient one... heh heh... and I knew the statement was incendiary in nature.
"Sorry TEKKEN Fans!!!"
;)
But when it comes to 3D fighters I've been a "Soul Calibur" guy all the way... I've done "Toshinden", "Tekken", I did my time with "Virtua Fighter"... I just prefer the old "Soul" most of all. I'm ripped to bitz that the recent PSP game was such a flop.
Was thinking either Dissidia, LBP, God of War, SW Elite Squadron...dont know thox6sh0tOceloti'd go with dissidia, its a good game :) LBP is quite similar to the ps3 one but like no multiplayer and less customization
Was thinking either Dissidia, LBP, God of War, SW Elite Squadron...dont know thox6sh0tOcelotDissidia is really fun that is my 1st choice then LBP becuase hes adorable then God Of War because its really short and then Star Wars becuase shooters on PSP = Fail

you save $10 a card for taxes?Well sort of. I mean. if Im buying god of war i have to buy two 20 dollar cards because i get charged about 2 dollars for taxes, and that way i make sure i have enough. For the 40 dollar games its about 4 dollars of taxes, and this would be subtracted from the previous leftover money i had.
