Having Problems Getting Into Mgs4

Ive been i really big metal gear fan since i was 12 when i played part one, now i am 17 ive played the first 3 over 7 times each.

So when i got my ps3 i went out and got Metal Gear Solid 4. But for some reason i just dont like it that much=/

Im not that far im at the part were you first see vamp

so does the game kinda start slow then pick up?

Personaly i think its the shooting system i just dont like it.

if I were king, that would change I can assure you.

But give the game a chance, you never know, it might just click then you'll really start enjoying it

Stop shooting then :) Use CQC. Use C4. Maybe together. Use MG Mk. II, traps, grenades and all your gadgets. The first 2 chapters have a lot of freedom where the last 3 are more or less boss fights, cutscenes and special sequences.

I find it hard to interact with movies too.

part of me wants to tell you that the fun part of your brain is broken if you dont enjoy mgs4, but i digress. as someone else said there is no law requiring you to like it. that being said, i though the first half of the game (up until the sneaking missionthrough the streets offrance iirc) was kinda meh, but really the last couple of chapter i thought really turned it around. i thought it started offa little slow, but i enjoyed it b/c i knew what kojima was going for.

Yeah, it definitely ramps up about the midway point. But.... if you don't like the game, you don't like it. It's not law that everyone enjoy MGS4.raven_squad

As I haven't played the other MGS games I also found it hard to get into it. Especially the stealth mechanic. But once you get used to it, it becomes very fun. Keep playing it, I promiseit gets better. :)
