well at one point they evidently talked about haze for the 360 and PC. but those were dropped for what ever reason.
im still going to get the game, but im expecting an average game. doesnt look like free radical tried to do anything outside of the box.
"doesnt look like free radical tried to do anything outside of the box."
I think they deffinetly tried.. they are the creaters of timesplitters..thats what they do..and if nectar highs, and playing dead in an FPS aren't out of the box..than I don't really know what is...

nectar is a diffrent variation of the same ol, turn your enemies against them selves. we have had this for ages, charm in rpgs, plasmids in bioshock, etc.
playing dead is a little more developed in this game, but i heard of other games with similar functions. everquest had one, i hear one of the quakes had it.
while free radical as a company helped make the fps genre to what it is today. haze looks very forgetable at this point, and very average...
I don't how you people can say this shooter looks "average". It's got a lot of unique attributes to it and I think if FRD polishes it, it will be a great game. Playing dead, weapon steal, Nectar are all pretty new and cool things brought to a FPS. I can't wait to jump out of a corner in multiplayer and steal someones weapon then kill them with it.
Nectar is more then just about making someone overdose and turn on themselves/their team, it also blinds Mantel soldiers from seeing dead bodies I believe sometimes which makes the whole playing dead thing even more effective.
They are also promising very very minimal/no load times.
So we shall see if it's done right it will be absolutely great...if it was rushed then I'm sure some of us who hyped it will feel the dissapointment. Either way I'm not basing how I like it on reviews but how I like when I pick it up day of release.

Average when compared to Unreal Tournament 3, Killzone 2, or orange box. I'm sure this game will be good, but there's way too much competition that will just be a ton better.
I played Haze today at the Arcadia Festival here in Montreal, Quebec. However, they plugged the TV using composite, not HD, that is really stupid.
The game was not good looking because of that. However, since I am not too good with shooter on console, I can't say if I liked the game or not (I liked Resistance, but there was auto aim).
The game also froze when I was playing, but it was because the PS3 was in a case without much ventilation.
I didn't really know the mechanism of the game but if I had the time to play it more, I would say that it could be a great game.
Playing Goldeneye 64 brought me so much fun that I owe it to these guys to get this game. I'm quite sure this'll be a good game. Can't name any bad games from Free Radical.NielsNLyou dont owe developers anything. i said thanks bungie and bought halo3 legendary...wow, that was a pile of average game if ive ever seen one.

Bungie has a history of average games. Free Radical does not.

reviews for bungie says otherwise.
and while timesplitters has been good, you dont hear about it often. i cant personally speak for all fo them. but what i did play of one on the GC it was pretty average.
