Haze... excited?

So I haven't looked much into this game but it sounds pretty hyped... whats the deal? I mean it looks pretty cool but is it just another shooter... when I say that i don't mean to downtrot it but just curious if there are any cool features or anything that is making this game different or possibly better than the rest.

Are you interested in this game or already pre-ordered it?

The game hasnt been hyped that much, its been called generic, average and nothing special. So far i agree it doesnt look nothing special but I'll decide today cause the demos up for it on European Store. However, its coop is a special and pretty empahsised. I'm not buyin it because on 3 weeks later MGS4 is being released.

good call... yeah and I think I'll have to buy age of conan for the PC anyways... after I hear the reviews on it and maybe get some more info if the game will run on my PC since the beta ran like complete crap

I wasn't but am starting to get more so now. I think i may pick it up depending on reviews and give it a go. Shame MGS4 comes out to shortly afterwards crippling the chances of this game ever truly doing well. readingfc_1

Yeah, GTA IV just came out and I'm sure there are people still looking to buy it this month. And the gamers who already own GTA IV will probably still be playing it for the rest of the month of May, going into June. By then, MGS4 will come out. It is really bad timing for Haze, but then again, some people cant shake off the idea of Haze being a generic shooter, and "nothing special." I was pretty hyped up for it at one point but that died down. I'm downloading the demo right now as we speak, so I'll find out soon.

Guess I still need to check out the demo. To be honest, this game has barely been on my radar. There have been so many other games to pay attention to. It's Free Radical, though, so I'm somewhat interested. The Time Splitters games were all pretty good, but their best moments were often in levels that reminded me of GoldenEye and Perfect Dark.

If the demo is decent at all, I'll most likely be picking it up. I could always use more shooters, and more games for my PS3, which is getting more time as a Blu-Ray player these days.
