i have one leg on that boat right now. Killzone 2 and resistance 2 are the most anticipated FPS for me right now, but haze might get a purchase from me.

Yeah, because they delayed it just to piss us off.

Or to reap the financial benefits of delaying a money making franchise.

Or to sit around with their thumbs up their butts and NOT make the game better.

Why would anyone with a sliver of intelligence question that this delay is in the best interests of the game, the PS3, and the consumer? Delays happen to ensure product quality... It's RUSHED games that people should get pissed about, RUSHED games that shaft the consumer, RUSHED games that represent a big "up yours" by the developer to the user. Delays are inconvenient, but they ARE in the best interest of the consumer. Any idiot who doubts that is just that... an idiot.

Thats BS, I don't believe they would hold back on making more money so that others games that probably won't be affected by Haze can make more money.

i remember this game being scheduled for december 4th. i put it on my christmas list as number 1 thing i wanted.

got delayed unti january 18th.

so i waited an extra 23 days.

got delayed until march 18th.

its still listed as that day, but i doubt it now. thats 2 days after my birhtday. it is utterly amazing to me that a game could get delayed past both of my gift recieving holidays.

Thank you. Me too. I hope this game is great...Free Radical has a good track record and I am willing to trust at this point that their word is legit. I don't get where this culture of entitlement comes from amongst the gaming community now. It's just like everything else I suppose. I don't get the point of giving up on a game because the dev goes on record as trying to make it the best game possible. I don't want this game just because I want it now. I want this game because I think it has potential and hopefully it fulfills what FR and Ubi have promised.

Gamers should be angry when they get half finished games that leave possibilities unrealized and certain flaws in the finished product. That list could go on forever. Oh well...the consumer has clearly demonstrated over the course of history that it will gladly forego a finished product in the name of instant gratication...Bill Gates built his empire around that...now everyone just forgives as he devotes himself to philanthropy.

Any game that cancelled development on the more popular platform(360) to go with ps3 exclusivity obviously is making the game for the sake of the game, not money, and if they think that for the sake of the game, it needs a delay, then who are we to get mad at that?

Well you know I will still be buying this game on day one as I have it pre-ordered. I love the fact that they want to polish and make the game as best as possible BUT they should have just said from the beginning that it was going to be delayed long, instead of stringing along customers (and even companies as BestBuy and Zellers both ran ads for the game).

It seems games are being delayed more often now because companies are realizing gamers are demanding a much better product for their money. That's a good thing, but games are also delayed so companies can make the most money which is usually a bad thing. I know this game will kick major arse but let's hope it's not too long of a wait.

everytime i hear about HAZE it sounds more and more mediocre.

Well i am pretty mad about the delay considering this game was going to get a lot of playtime in this spring where its kind of slow, but now i am more looking forward to gta, mgs, killzone, resistance, battlefied. But that being said i will still get the game when in comes out, i just wish they were more effiecient so we could have the best product now.
