This isn't about Halo or Crysis .. it's about HAZE .. it's co-op that is pulling me in .. looks really cool. Plus the story looks different ..

I think it's great, 4 player coop online with mics was great fun, and it even says in the demo it's not a final representation of the game/visuals, im sure the full game will be a bit sharper

The online coop and multiplayer it what will make haze worth a purchase, everyone I played with online so far luvs it

I'm gonna agree with Token here. Some of those FPS with crappy graphics still have the best gameplay. Especially in a fps, whats far more important for me is a solid, steady framerate. Playing through the demo I found it fairly easy to aquire targets because it felt fairly smooth to me.

Having said that, I've only had one and a half run-throughs with the demo and didn't focus on things such as leaves moving or spotting tearing or anything along those lines. I will say that if you were expecting something revolutionary then you had better get out of the FPS genre. It's nature is and will always be "point and shoot" with a few minor twists in either story or gameplay (for example, Nectar).

Also, I refuse to give a game a score based on a 5 minute playthrough of part of a level, so don't ask me to score it.

Usually I don't trust demos sometimes. When I tried the Uncharted demo it sucked ass, but yet the full game was awesome. We just have to wait and see the full game then.Warhawk_

I couldnt agree more. Although I expected Haze to at least be running at a higher resolution. Can anyone confirm the resolution for the Haze demo? It should give us an idea of how the real game will look like. Even though the thought of that scares me...

Man I thought the demo was AWESOME! The characters models/vehicles look really good in this game and so does fire and smoke. Nectar is AWESOME and so much fun dosing up on it. I can't wait to finally play the full game! The graphics aren't bad at all and the gameplay is really good.

yeah, i downloaded the demo on my fake uk account. it really does suck. graphics are sub-par, and the controls are weak. nectar is a big lame thing that makes things look cool- seriously they have all these lame excuses for bad everything- mantel corp's suits and nectar make it impossible to see corpses of enemies you kill, to prevent psychological damage- yeah, OK, just admit that you cant figure out how to design a game right- the bodies disappear when they are on the ground, is this the PS1 or the PS3????????

the story is still midly interesting and cool in little ways. but the online is probably the only thing this game will have going for it.

This is actually a point made in the game of what the Nectar does to Mantel troopers. Bodies "disappear" after they are dead, it makes everything seem more fantasy like. When you had a Nectar disruption in the demo, you saw all the dead bodies laying around (maybe you didn't notice). But the nectar messes with your mind. When you become a rebel, you'll see dead bodies all the time.

I guess so. The mantel troopers look badass because their suits are all shiny and have a popping effect. The rebels look like garbage though. The game really doesn't impress me graphically. Its the co-op and ambush tactics that have me interested. Like the first level walktrhough....How that dev played made it seem so fun. But later vids showing you run in guns blazing makes the game look like D+ material.

Why is everyone so close minded that they only care about the graphics? some people expect far too much.

I dont really care if a game is generic, COD4 is generic, most fps games are generic, Gameplay is far more important than graphics.
