Haze, Resistance?

I need help here guys and gals, i was really set on buying Haze but after seeing a ton of bad reviews and negative thoughts im deciding to keep my money from it unless i am persuaded, i really wanted to buy a game though, i already have gta 4 and mgs 4 is preordered, but out of Haze, Resistance:Fall Of Man(which i rented but never beat), or Lego Indiana Jones, which do you think i should buy???

And no i do not pride myself on following reviews i just think 6 is a little too low to ignore.

I used to own Resistance. It has its own issues when compared to true gems like COD 4, Orange Box, Bioshock, etc. Since it was a launch game you can expect visuals that are very similar to a PS2 title. Outside of that problem, the campaign is long and has an interesting story and the multiplayer is good enough to get the job done. Resistance looks better than Haze, plays better than Haze, sounds better than Haze, etc.

If you have played the demo for Haze then you already know it is not very good. Some people with lower standards think Haze is just fine, but they are only fooling themselves. The majority of people think Haze is an overhyped and under-delivering disappointment. That's very true. The few who tell you otherwise have low standards for what a "good" game is and they are only fooling themselves when they say Haze is great.

Resistance out of those two. But have you played Uncharted yet?avataraang1

Resistance beats uncharted in replay and multiplayer though (obviously)... so I think it is the better game...

Have you played COD4 yet. Its story isn't as good as Resistance, but the online is the best out there

I am sorry, but what are you smoking - "Resistance similiar to a PS2 title....". The reason I never played my PS2 was due to graphics (sucked) and Resistance is nothing like that. Maybe you didn't put it up on a 50-inch HD tv, but what you should know is they didn't torch up the brightness like COD4 to hide all the flaws. If you zoom up on stuff in RFOM and pay a little bit of attention you would realize how great the graphics are in this game.

I have vowed to never play COD4 from a personal bet with a friend lol

I do pride myself on high quallity games which is why i only buy the best i.e. ninja gaiden sigma, ratchet and clank, uncharted, devil may cry 4, assassins creed, and dark sector(iffy).

I think ill go with resistance because it had a pretty good storyline and the graphics were really good, and haze looks mediocre like timeshift

Everyone that plays haze seems to either love it, or hate it. Theres no middle ground... resistance no one really dises, so if you can only get one, It should be resistance, although I plan on buying both (already have resistance)

I play on a 46 inch 1080p Samsung. I think my vision is working just fine. Resistance does have many washed out textures and they look worse when you zoom in on them or go stand in front of a wall. Everyone has different standards for graphics and the graphics didn't cut it for me in Resistance. And while I do like the outdoor textures in COD 4 I agree that the interior textures are rather poor. After Bioshock most every game has looked sub-par to my eyes.

LEGO Indiana Jones is going to be pretty cool. I already have that one lined up in my June list.

I'm not fooling myself if I think Haze is a good game. I know what I enjoy and what I don't. Haze was a decent game and I say definitely deserves a play through the campaign. Resistence was definitely a better game, but Haze was still a good one and I don't have low standards, I just don't listen to every review like some ignorant people do and miss out on fun experiences. If you don't want these 2 games, try Heavenly Sword of Uncharted for sure.

I'm going with Resistance, the demo for Haze was just too meh for me, after renting turning point i dont want to go through something like that again lol
