Haze vs. UT3

Two great looking shooters. Which one is the best?

mannnnn. All i have to say is Keyboard and Mouse compatability.

LOL at the people who think they will take me out with their controller. The only way THAT is going to happen is if you get sticky aim....and I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly don't see that being the case with UT3.

Well, obviously my choice is UT3 =]. I was a huge fan of the first one man, I had so many great times playing.

With that being said though, Haze does look like a pretty cool game to play. The only negative that comes to mind when I think of it is the one shot kill with the knives. There is the possiblity that the knife could make the game too easy. On the other hand if that is the case...just play it like you would ratchet and clank (Ive never played the game before but I hear that if you want the game to be tougher you should not use all the super powerful weapons) and limit your usage of the knife throw thang.

Ne ways man like I said UT3 is my choice...main reason being keyboard mouse.

i laugh at those who finalise that COD4 and UT3 will be better then Haze

stefanlek, you make a good point man. The thing is that people are always going to have a preference. I think a lot of people are basing their feelings towards UT3 with regards to the past games. And why not right? The games have been big time fun.

So for those people who believe that CoD4/UT3 will be better than HAze all the power to them. I don't see the need to laugh at them lol. After all it is only an opinion...annnnnnnnd as far as im concerned its a pretty viable one seeing as UT has had a plethora of great games in the series!!!!! The same could be said about CoD right? I mean it is the 4th installment and all of the previous ones have been quite succesfful.

Haze has never been done. It's the first installment of a "possible" series.

To sum it all up...don't laugh because people think UT3 will be better than Haze. UT is an established series, one with an immense fan base!! On the other hand I dont think people should completely rule out Haze as being a good game.

Guys if i seem like im all over the place with my writing I do apologize, Im currently getting hammered for a 3 hour train ride I have at 8tonight.

Okay no offense but have the people who are saying HAZE ever touched UT3 in their lives? That game is pure gold and your telling me a new contender that we don't know much about is better than a series that has proven itself over and over and over again? That's not to say Haze can't be better, but lets be realistic here.G-Legend

It looks excellent.

Also, I refuse to buy 4-5 shooters in a span of forty-five days.

I have always loved Unreal, but I'm going to go with Haze, mostly because it should have a much better single player then Unreal.

To be clear, I will pick both up the second they are available.

OK, let me school you guys who don't know the story behind Free Radical.

Free Radical was formed in 1999/2000 I think when the super popular/great game developer RARE (they did Goldeneye and Donkey Kong among other things) disbanded. MOST of the employees from RARE started their own studio called FRD or Free Radical Design. So most of the people who worked on Goldeneye and the Timesplitters series ARE working on HAZE. Which means these people know how to make first person shooters! That is one of the main reasons I am so pumped for this game!!!

This game will be NO FLOP. It will be AWESOME! Quote me on this.

UT3 for sure.

I'm getting it for PC though, UT is meant for PC.

CoD4.. meh.. not getting it, it's a 16 person version of bf2 with better graphics... I enjoy bf2 enough.

I will get haze however, it sounds very unique and worth trying.

and ive played unreal tournament before, and it was awesome
