Anyone else looking forward to the collection games? I cannot wait !!! There are tons of great ones coming out soon like jak and daxter 1 2 and 3... metal gear solid 2 3 and peacewalker and I already have the prince of persia one! Really wish they would do the ratchet and clank ones as well as the kingdom hearts!!! Anyone know of any other collections coming or are already out that we should definately get? PS... I know that some collection games are only for PS3 and not for xbox, are there any other games like this or visa versa?
I have the MGS and God of War Collections. I think there a waste of money if you own the originals. I was pro HD collections until I figured out how to make the originals look good on my LCD tv.
I'm looking forward to the Jak and Daxter collections. The Sly Collection was a blast, and it'll be worth it since I've never played Jak and Daxater games (thought I played Daxter on PSP).
I think I may have purchased as many HD collections last year (probably this year too) as new releases. :P
Can't wait for Jak and Daxter HD in a week and a half. Then Silent Hill HD, Devil May Cry HD, Rayman 3: Hooldum Havoc HD (whenever arrives), Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD, and hopefully more HD collections announced.
Hopefully the SH ones don't end up being too HD. I say this because the grainy fog type graphics of the 2nd and 3rd added a lot to the atmosphere, which was lost in Homecoming with the sharper graphics (not that that was the only problem with Homecoming, but it was noticable compared to 2 and 3, which are in the HD collection).
As others have said, a San Andreas HD version would be pretty great. If we don't get that then hopefully GTA V will be able to bring the series back to being fun again and have all the features of SA (the leveling system with all the different stats and flying planes) and add new ones, unlike GTA IV which took everything away and didn't really offer anything new or exciting.
