The hard drive on my ps3 is almost completely out of room, so Ive been thinking about buying a new one. Two questions
1. How much do these usually cost?
2. will my game saves be deleted if I upgrade the hard drive?

ive also wandered is a 160 GB a good HDD for alot of games?my 40 GB one has 4 GB left LOL my collection is like 14 games and i buy games like every 2 months so is must i get a bigger or 160 is perfect
A 160 is a good, cheap choice. If you want to be sure you wont fill it up, opt for a 250, as it is only about 10-20 bucks more at online retailers. I have a 250 and my buddy has a 320. Neither of us has reached the half way full point yet.
1--about 80 bucks
2--you can keep your data if you use the backup utility, Ive done it and it works.
I got my Western Digital 500gig HDD for a little under $200, it was completely worth it. Your game saves aren't deleted, just copy them to a USB stick or something and then copy them back to the new hard drive.
Im thinking of buying a 250 GB hard drive but what brand would someone recommend for buying? Ive heard seagate or western digital would be the way to go, also would almost any memory stick work for back-up as long as you have enough memory?

Seagate or Western Digital would probably be the best, I've never had a problem with my Western Digital HDD. Any memory stick will work.
