OK I know that this probably has been discussed before. But has anyone experienced the difference between HDMI 1.3 cables and 1.2? Is there a difference in clarity or something?kenken2g
1.3 supports more colors and 1.2 doesnt.

yea its called google, try it.
If your just gonna be a arse dont reply at all :/
1.3 like stated earlier has a much better color range, it also supports Dolby HD as well as DTS HD surround sound, 1.2 can't do that. At least I know thats the difference between version 1.3a and 1.2 in hardware, but I would guess the cables are the same.
When it comes to cables, wire is wire. Its like buying Monster Cables thinking your going to get some amazing sound a picture simply because they are more costly.
The only difference between HDMI 1.3 and HDMI 1.2 cables is the price. A $65 HDMI 1.3 Monster cable is no better than $5 HDMI cable from Monoprice.com.
Buy a generic cheap HDMI cable and save youself some money.

Thanks for your reply and for setting bizzy420 straight.... what a jerk. I just wanted answers from people that have used them or know something. Thanks

HDMI1.3 cables offer 2x the bandwidth, they're a higher category cable and will be required for many TVs/Audio systems now. They are not the same, they are not identical, there is a reason why 1 is Cat1 and the other is Cat2. if you've got a HDMI 1.3 tv or a HDMI 1.3 audio system, buy the 1.3 cables. Its simple.
