My Sharp Aquos did the same thing for a while. I just left it running and the PS3 eventually recognized the 1080p signal. But if it stays like that, I dont know what to tell ya. sryeltono19Well I got that Input 4 and 5 (which are the HDMI ones) and the 1,2,3. Input 3 has the Yellow video cable in it. What else do i need to do?
So ONLY the HDMI?take out the video cables. You dont use them AND the hdm.
Then hold down the power button and the ps3 will reset itself and recognize the hdmi.
I have a 42" Sharp Aquas 1080p 42D and also you need to make sure your on the right imput.

umm yeah man only the HDMI you cant possibly watch two signals in diferent inputs
