hdmi cables problem , help

has anyone experienced frreezing or a system lok up since using hdmi cables, i put them in yesterday and since then my ps3 is always freezing-

has nyone noe how to fix the problem

any help will be greately aprreciated

The only thing i have noticed with HDMI is static in some dark areas when watching Videos/BD/DVD but ill just blame that on my cheep ass HDMI cables. (no way in hell im going to spend 120$ Cable)

When dose it lock up? While in a game/BD/DVD or just on the XMB?
