I know I have another topic, but I want to keep them seperated, if that's not a problem.. I noticed there was not a HDMI cable with my PS3(which is kind of annoying, to be honest), so I was wondering, does anyone know how much one from Gamestop usually costs? Also , does anyone have any pictures of PS3 on HDMI and with the regular video outputs, to compare?

Hi!! The reason why Sony did'nt sell PS3 with a HDMI cable is because they want it to be up to the buyers what quality they want to have on they're cable. And those cables that came with the PS and the PS2 was crap....I bought a RGB cable at ones, and that is a huge difference. But to get Full 1080p HD out of the PS3 you need HDMI cable, because most TV's don't support 1080p through analog.(It's the best anyways:P)

Keep in mind that all HDMIs are the same. The ones that cost 100 bucks will work just as good as the 20 buck ones. Do your shoping online if you can. Trust me, it will pay off big time.

I recently got a hdmi cable for my PS3 and I put in a game while on the PS3 main menu. I start the game and my TV supports 720p and that is whatI haveit set to and I get a 2-3 second no signal after the ps3 logo and before the game loads. Just wondering if that is normal with hdmi, cause I don't want to damage my new tv. Thanks in advance for any word on this.
