Hi!! The reason why Sony did'nt sell PS3 with a HDMI cable is because they want it to be up to the buyers what quality they want to have on they're cable. And those cables that came with the PS and the PS2 was crap....I bought a RGB cable at ones, and that is a huge difference. But to get Full 1080p HD out of the PS3 you need HDMI cable, because most TV's don't support 1080p through analog.(It's the best anyways:P)
I know I have another topic, but I want to keep them seperated, if that's not a problem.. I noticed there was not a HDMI cable with my PS3(which is kind of annoying, to be honest), so I was wondering, does anyone know how much one from Gamestop usually costs? Also , does anyone have any pictures of PS3 on HDMI and with the regular video outputs, to compare?philcabinetwhen i first got my ps3 i only played it a few times until i got my hdmi cable. its much better with one like night and day.it allows u to upscale ur dvds and ps2/1 games to ur tvs max res.
i got specail deal from a friend with sticky fingers which was a sony brand hdmi cable plus a sixaxis both sealed brandnew for 30 bucks:D
