ok so i recently got a monitor for my computer..
nothing flash.. 19" widescreen.. with dvi input

whats the chances it'll support a HDMI to DVI cable?
how can i tell?

and are there other cables that might work?

just make sure your DVI supports HDCP, if it does you're fine and you can connect ur ps3 to that monitor using HDMI->DVI

Yeah that'll work. Never tried, but "in theory" it should wok.

like the other guy said, make sure you have hdcp. if you can post the model i'm sure I can find out for you unless someone beats me to it

usualy it's hard to have a tv support DVI to HDMI .... but if you want to sacrifice a small black line around your image it will work just fine

...

thanks guys, just checked... no HDCP support.. its a benq FP92W

do you think there is there any other way to connect to the monitor?
