HDMI to DVI HELP!!! plzz

I go hdmi to dvi so i know it can be done.

1st tho you need to make sure your not setting it at too high a resolution my monitor won't go to 1080 so have to set it at 720p or I wont see a picture.

Try pressing and holding the power button to reset the display where it will auto dectect the hdmi connection.

make sure your monitor is HDCP compliant not all monitors with a dvi port are HDCP compliant. good luck mate.clarkportmanken

i play my 360 on the monitor and it plays fine, and what does HDCP stand for?

HDCP means that your monitor can do high definition something like that, however your ps3 should be set at 720p so that it will work with the screen tell me what brand your monitor is and model number ill find out for you pm me or something

I have a source button on my monitor, maybe try pushing that because it is set up to detect a computer rather than HDMI

Thats my guess if you've already set the PS3 to output in HDMI and check if all the connections are secure.

Same I have a source button to switch from analogue (pc) to ditgital (ps3)

360 is component, no HDCP there

my monitor is a HANNS 19" Wide Screen TFT LCD Monitor. model: HW191. thats all what it says on the front of the box

I dont think it will display anything if u have it coneected to the tv and the and the monitor at the same time.dudester1981
