hey guys,

so the ps3 is becoming more appealing to me now that more games have been released and better games will be releasing soon. I've been looking around for an HDTV and i've been looking at this 26in bravia. Lemme know what you guys think about this TV for the ps3 that will be set in my room. Thanks!

That T.V should be fine but you should get a 1080p instead of a 720p.

at 26 inches, 1080p won't make a difference

32'', 720p is prefect, most games run at 720p, and it will probably stay this way this gen, higher it goes, the harder it is to keep the frame rate.

Honestly, you're not going to miss out on much unless games support 1080p. I can only name a couple that does, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Lair. And they dont look that much better than on a 720p. I had a 720p and now I have a 46" 1080p and the difference is slight to none depending on which game. All you're really buying it for is Blu-ray and size. If you like watching/playing your games on a big screen, then 1080p is the way to go.

for some reason i dont think you know much about tvs. anyways even at 42 inches its can be hard to tell the difference between 1080p and 720p, unless you are sitting like 4feet away. at normal VD it can be VERY hard to see the difference between 1080po and 720p. resolution is the least important of 4 factors when it comes to choosing a tv.

a 720p bravia will look better than a crappy 1080p westinghouse or vizio, because it will most likely have better saturation, contrast and black levels.

The difference in 720p and 1080p only starts to show when the TV screen reaches around 40". The smaller screen looks great at 720p or 1080i. So a 26" Bravia should be a great TV for your room.

I think you misunderstood me, i never really told him to get the same size T.V i told him to get a 1080p meaning i could have meant any size i never told him to get a small T.V I told him to get a 1080p so therefore if he got a bigger T.V in 1080p then it would be better. And resolutiom is NOT the least important factor in choosing a T.V and how do you know he's not sitting 4 feet away from it, it's in his room so he's probably sitting close to it.

Next time think before you post that i don't know what i am talking about because i do lol.
