i turned on my headset just now on motorstorm , but there is no one with a headset to try it with , but i dont know if its working cuase the little picture thing that comes beside the online ID doesnt appear , does it not appear when its yourself that has the headset? reply soon plzzzzz

I think the icon only is showing when you speak into your mic.
my friend told me that he hasnt seen the thing either beside my nick , and i just did the thing on the xmb and doesnt work yet , do i have to do anything special when i get into motorstorm becuase on my ps3 its works ok
I have a problem to with my headset on motorstorm, it is a madcatz one and sometimes on online it just stops working and I can't hear or say anything, when I try to fix this problem by pressing buttons on my headset my ps3 takes me completely out of motorstorm and into the screen where all the ps3 options are. Also it keeps making my controller stop working, I think it's probably something to do with the bluetooth. Is anyone else having similar problems or know how to fix this problem
I've been trying to get my headset working in R-FOM but I cant hear a thing, I cant even tell if its on. I've set it up ok, I think. Once I could hear a few guys speak but they could hear me.
I have a Motorola bluetooth headset I've had for like 2 years for my cell phone. I've found, I need to repair the headset to the PS3 everytime I want to use it. Big PITA, but whatever.
