To begin with, I have tried searching for this topic and it yielded no results. Maybe I am typing and using the wrong words or something I dont know. I am looking into buying a headset for my ps3 so I can talk and stuff while playing COD MW2 online. Just wondering exactly how the headsets work(do I just plug it in and bingo?), and which brands you guy's use. Thanks for the help.

Get the official one. You just plug it in and it works no problem. Otherwise, you could just pair any bluetooth headset with the PS3 and it'll work. At least it did when I used my Jabra. Any bluetooth will work. I just bought the cheapest one I could find (Jabra, on sale at Best Buy) and it works great.

Here I linked it for you. Here is a cheaper alternative if you don't mind the wire. Link.

You can use USB headsets that are wired obviously, or be super cool and get a bluetooth headset. They're super cheap these days and just about any will work.
