Heavenly Sword - Are you Buying?

I loved the demo and I loved the animated shorts that have been coming out on PSn so for me it's a must buy! How about you guys?

A short game for $60. I remember when Sony fanboys bashed Gears of War for being short and saying it's not worth it. Isn't this game shorter than Gears of War? I have this game pre-ordered but I think I'll just move it to some other PS3 game coming out. Something like this would be a rental for me. It looks great, but personally I think it just reminds me too much of God Of War which I am playing a lot of lately (I and II).

Yup. I completely agree here. Reminds me of GoW1&2 a lot and is too much $$ for a purchase for me. I'm going to rent it for sure though.

In regards to Gears of War...Heavenly Sword if 6 hours long is exactly as long as Gears of War. I was dissapointed in the length of the game yes. But that says a lot for the game because I enjoyed it enough that I wanted more that what I got. The other issue with Gears is the fact that a large portion of the story and background was left out.

If the story in Heavenly Sword is well told and enjoyable it will be worth the $60.

10 hours? Maybe if you took your time...It took me about 6 hours maybe 7...

After playing the demo i can 100% say that I will not be buying this game. It just isnt my cup of tea.

Maybe next year if it goes cheap then ill buy it..MAYBE.

The consensus was that it's (Gears of War)about a 10 hour game. So, if you say that you finished it 2-3 hours less than the norm, does that mean Goddess of War will only be about 3 hours for you? I'd hope not....but I would imagine it being 5-6 hours...all depending on the difficulty.

Yes, like Realmarine, I prefer to spend extended amounts of time watching a hero in game who has a big, floppy, greek snausage barely concealed behind a paper thin breach cloth than a beautiful heroine with firm, round breasts.;)
