Heavenly Sword sequal in the works ! SPOILER !!!

At the event, a spokesperson for Ninja Theory on occasion referred to the PS3 exclusive as"Heavenly Sword 1",as if placing emphasis that it is only the first of more games to come

I think it was pretty much given that Heavenly sword will get a sequal but I was just wondering who is going to be the main character since Nariko died in Heavenly Sword ?

What do you want to see in Heavenly Sword 2 ? personally I hope the game is longer, like double the size of the first game.

honestly it could be a whole new person, just becuase its about the sword so it could be a different generation or group that protects it and makes it a different main character. or she can come back who knows or a prequel there is so many options

Hey, if you've never even played the first game, why would you bother reading something about a sequel?? Doesn't make much sense if you ask me. If I'm interested in a game, and I haven't played it yet, I'll never read a post about that game if it's already been released. Take for instance, I have Uncharted and Assassins Creed, but haven't played them yet because I'm finishing another game. I do my best to avoid those topics.paul52181

did you know in killzone 2 the game actually ends, oops my bad guess you cant get that game now since you just found that out. Please its such a minor detail for such a great game to be passed up, stop being such a (slang term that equals female dog).

well now they can play Heavenly Sword as a prequal, you know that Nariko dies so you should play te game to see how she dies but if you have been reading all the previews and what-not it's pretty much easy to find out how she dies.

exactly. HS2 could be an awsome action game. I reckon it will come out in 09. wait a min, 09 is when GOW3 is coming out. AWESOME ! HS2 vs GOW3, a great year for Playstation action fans indeed, both 1st party games going head-to-head.

I own the first Heavenly Sword. I just want a longer story next time around with the same production values.

Oh the people crying about a spoiled game are making me laugh SO hard right now especially since I dont know if they are actually serious or not.

You find out what happens to her at the BEGINNING of the story...plus...to skip out on this short...yet wonderful piece of gaming art is a crime just because you opened a topic.

Not by this thread but another; still, I'm going to get it once it becomes a Greatest Hits title.

Two things: If Heavenly Sword is made into a franchise, then Nariko should, somehow, remain the main character. Secondly, don't kill the Heavenly Sword franchise at part III. I really hate that. When I think of franchise (in terms of games) I think of an on-going series of games (Final Fantasy, Zelda, Tekken, Super Mario, GTA, etc.). I don't like when a good game stops at a certain installment in the series (most recently: Halo at Halo 3, next: Metal Gear at Metal Gear Solid 4). Please don't make the Heavenly Sword franchise a three part or four part series!!!!!!!!!!GEMINIVice

although I kind of agree but no company can exactly make a franchise fresh and great for every instalment. Eventually a franchise will go stale if they keep on milking it, A game in my opinion needs to have an end because if it doesn't then whats the point of the story.

I'd like them to expand Kai history. There is a lot to her past that I'd like to know.

She is now in charge of protecting the Heavenly Sword, it would be great to see her follow in Nariko's footsteps as a guardian. Older, mature (and still weird ;p).

I had tons of fun playing her missions.

No Nariko, no buy. She made the game awesome. One of the coolest female characters in a game.BioShockOwnz

Although I would buy a sequel, Nariko made that game.
