Heavenly Sword Sequel? *MAJOR SPOILERS*!!!

P.S You know what would be awesome, if God of War III and Heavenly Sword II were being developed right now in time for a March 2009 release, that would make an amazing anticipation and rivalry between the two!

oh yeah, it would. and then when people were on the forums making threads like "HEAVENLY SWORD OWNS GOD OF WAR (CAPS)" and people saying "not it doesn't" i would give a rats ass cause i would be sitting in my bed in front of the 1080p (maybe?) glory of two great franchises while the kids who can't afford both games would be on the forums :D

The beautiful thing about inventing a universe like that of Heavenly Sword is that you get to make up all the rules and happily, in the Heavenly Sword universe, just because you're dead, it doesn't mean your life is over

...We haven't announced anything as yet but I can confirm that when we wrote the original story we did write it as a trilogy...

speaking of Heavenly Sword....I've never played it on any system and don't really know the storyline or anything. However, I just got a new 80gb and a friend has the game and asked me if I'm interested in buying it. Is it worth $15 - $20 bucks? I figured it is....but the title wouldn't be high on my list. Get it anyway ? Thought?

Motorstorm (with unit), COD4 already in the mail (be here thurs) and looking at either getting a previously played Uncharted or Warhawk.

I think they can pull of a sequel, with Nariko as the protagonist again, if they put some good thought into it. The game could be entitled: HEAVENLY SWORD: Return of the Goddess.

This is true... the important thing in the game is the sword, and it can take place as a prequel, present days or even in the future... while the leyend of Nariko would be told, or you would play as the legendary warrior. I wouldnt care if its a man or a woman on the next game... Im more concerned about the story

The game is technically about the sword. They just need to have a new wielder of the sword. Hopefully another smokin hot chick.

I won't lie, seeing Nariko's cheek peeking out of that toga she wore all game was my prime motivator for playing it :P

No no no. Kai was a great secondary character and a good companion to Nariko, but I wouldn't want to see a whole game based around her, especially not with the current archery mechanics. To that end, I don't want to see Kai suddenly become a legendary swordsman either. Either use Nariko again in some kind of storyline (Kratos has sure died enough times) or pick a new hottie in even less clothing :P

it will be like soul reaver. you die you end up in the spectual realm like the first one heavily sword. you do realize she went back and forth from that realm you go to to choice the level your going to play.

maybe you ignored the part where nariko said that she wasn't the chosen one, everyone makes their own destiny, and her tribe has been wasting their time waiting for a savior to come.

can't really explain why the sword has power, but nariko seemed to indicate that the heavenly warrior story wasnt true.

Yep was going to post that it is technically about the sword...I mean it is Heavenly SWORD right :)

They had an interview on LesbianGamers.com and the Dev Team behind Heavenly Sword said that "Noone really dies in the world of Heavenly Sword" and that they are really looking forwar to a sequal.. besides worst case scenario you could just be Kai as long as she gets rid of that bow.. man I hated that bow.

only thing i hated about it was that it was all to easy. even with the Sixaxis thingy (but by the time heavenly sword came out here, i was used to using the Sixaxis so that might be it). but Kai, as a person in the story and her story etc. that i really enjoyed

Anywho, completly off the lesbiangamers.com thing in every way (actually they'd probaly not like what i'm about to say), i think i'd perfer a male hero in a sequel, Nariko was a cool character but this 'hard-boiled girl' fad is really getting old, i say a new male character for atleast apart of the game, they should keep Kai though to pass on the lore from the 1st...

Well i guess its a fad thats less touched video games, films on the other hand are going ape s*** with it...
