So which will you get next month? Heavy Rain or Bioshock 2?

Ill be picking up both next month because I have been waiting a while for both and I feel they will hopefully be 2 fantastic games.

Heavy Rain is my #1 most anticipated game this year, and BioShock 2 is my #2. Both on day one for me.

Heavy Rain. Bioshock never needed a sequel, so I'm less than excited for Bioshock 2, and given how cheap the original is I'm sure the sequel will drop it price just as fast. Plus, Heavy Rain is something a little different (ignoring Indigo Prophecy, anyway).

I agree Bioshock 2 doesn't appeal to me.

Heavy Rain, it's new and looks very promising. Bioshock 2 can wait, it's probably just like the first one but with some tweaks.

Heavy Rain. I expect Bioshock 2 to be a good game, but I am not even a fraction as excited for it as I am for Heavy Rain.

Definitely Heavy Rain. In my opinion, Bioshock was one of those games that really shouldn't have a sequel, so I'll definitely be skipping it, good reviews or not.

Neither, for me. At least not getting them next month - maybe when price drops happen! I'm interested in both, but I'm not overflowing with money at the moment, so things have to be cut to make room for White Knight Chronicles, Final Fantasy XIII, and God of War 3. So much is coming out at the beginning of the year that I also want like Heavy Rain, BioShock 2, Star Ocean 4, etc. :( Just not enough money to go around!

HR for me. In my opinion, Bioshock should never of had a sequel; it was brilliant as a stand alone, originally piece of art and I feel they're trying too hard in Bioshock 2 to keep the feel the same, whilst making it appeal more to those who are just in it for the adreniline rushes. HR is 2010's version of the original Bioshock; original, deep and thought provoking

That's exactly how I feel. It just seems that the games industry is going the way of Hollywood in regards to "sequalizing" everything.

If I had to pick between the two of those I would have to go with Bioshock 2. I'll get Heavy Rain eventually, but I want Bioshock 2 NOW!

both. bioshock 2 comes out 2-3 weeks before hand, should be enough time to buy it, beat it and get heavy rain. the real problem is will i be done with heavy rain by the time ff13 drops.

Heavy Rain. BioShock 2 will either be a rental, or a purchase in a few months when it's cheaper.

I chose both.

If I had to pick one, it would be Bioshock 2. Heavy Rain just reminds me of Fahrenheit.

Bioshock was a great game. Especially when I played it back in 1999 when it was still called System Shock 2. While I'll no doubt play Bioshock 2 and it's one of those few games that makes me to stop and look with interest, it suffers from some drawbacks. 1) It's a sequel. I've got to wonder if we needed a sequel to Bioshock. I've got to wonder if this is an honest effort at continuing the story and expanding on the universe of if this is a production company looking for a lisence to print money. My excitement and interest in a game always falls a bit when there's a number after the title. Tisk tisk. 2) Bioshock really was a reimagining of System Shock 2. While it did some things better, it did some things worse. Now I'm not really complaining because if you take an old game that was great and redo it, chances are it will be great. And it was. But it makes me question just how many tricks this design team have up their sleeves. 3) The lead designer, Ken Levine, isn't actually involved in Bioshock 2. Hmmm...

At the same time System Shock 2 was knocking my socks off, Omikron: The Nomad Soul was doing almost as great a job. I missed out on Farenheit and so I feel it's only proper to give David Cage a chance at knocking me on my ass with video game greatness. After all, I extended that courtesy to Ken Levine. So I'll be getting Heavy Rain first up. Bioshock 2 can wait.

Heavy Rain for sure, may get Bioshock two, depending on the review scores.
