So which will you get next month? Heavy Rain or Bioshock 2?
Ill be picking up both next month because I have been waiting a while for both and I feel they will hopefully be 2 fantastic games.

Heavy Rain. Bioshock never needed a sequel, so I'm less than excited for Bioshock 2, and given how cheap the original is I'm sure the sequel will drop it price just as fast. Plus, Heavy Rain is something a little different (ignoring Indigo Prophecy, anyway).DJ_LaeI agree Bioshock 2 doesn't appeal to me.
Heavy Rain, it's new and looks very promising. Bioshock 2 can wait, it's probably just like the first one but with some tweaks.
Neither, for me. At least not getting them next month - maybe when price drops happen! I'm interested in both, but I'm not overflowing with money at the moment, so things have to be cut to make room for White Knight Chronicles, Final Fantasy XIII, and God of War 3. So much is coming out at the beginning of the year that I also want like Heavy Rain, BioShock 2, Star Ocean 4, etc. :( Just not enough money to go around!
Bioshock was a great game. Especially when I played it back in 1999 when it was still called System Shock 2. While I'll no doubt play Bioshock 2 and it's one of those few games that makes me to stop and look with interest, it suffers from some drawbacks. 1) It's a sequel. I've got to wonder if we needed a sequel to Bioshock. I've got to wonder if this is an honest effort at continuing the story and expanding on the universe of if this is a production company looking for a lisence to print money. My excitement and interest in a game always falls a bit when there's a number after the title. Tisk tisk. 2) Bioshock really was a reimagining of System Shock 2. While it did some things better, it did some things worse. Now I'm not really complaining because if you take an old game that was great and redo it, chances are it will be great. And it was. But it makes me question just how many tricks this design team have up their sleeves. 3) The lead designer, Ken Levine, isn't actually involved in Bioshock 2. Hmmm...
At the same time System Shock 2 was knocking my socks off, Omikron: The Nomad Soul was doing almost as great a job. I missed out on Farenheit and so I feel it's only proper to give David Cage a chance at knocking me on my ass with video game greatness. After all, I extended that courtesy to Ken Levine. So I'll be getting Heavy Rain first up. Bioshock 2 can wait.
Damn it. I can't get this cause if I waste 30 on my gf's valentines day gift I won't get this game. But if I don't she will be pissed and probably break up with me.
