PC's aside, I think killzone takes the best graphix nod, but then again Heavy Rain is not even close to complete and the level we saw was a bonus stage.

in Heavy Rain, they have great character models because, from what I've seen, they don't have a lot else going on. Just like Fight Night. Insane graphics, but they SHOULD be, because it doesn't have a lot going on.

Saying Heavy Rain does NOT have the best graphics is just as bad as the TC saying it does...the damn game isn't out yet. Sure the trailers/screen shots can look incredible ( I think they do) but until the full game is viewed how can one reach a conclusion one way or the other?? It's not about taking the "middle of the road" it's about holding judgement until all the facts are in. You should try it sometime, I find decision-making better that way. :D

I have to agree. Heavy Rain might have some stunning graphics but I still need to see the quality of the cinematics and how well they are directed comparing to Kojima's cinematics and acting. As of this moment, when it comes to cinematics and acting in games, MGS4 wins. Graphics won't make great cinematics. Great example, CRYSIS. In MGS games there is this mix of beautiful music, awesome sound quality, very well directed scenes that are detailed(explains cutscenes lenghts) and push the storyline to the next level with flawless character models and great lips sync. This mix what makes the cutscenes in MGS games so good and not boring imo.

Graphics are stunning whether there are alot of things going on the screen or not. Gameplay is what's worrying me the most. I thought it would've been something similar to Silent Hill's gameplay or RE5 but it turned out to be pushing buttons which isn't that exciting to be honest. I hope there is more to it than just pushing the right button.

I know what he meant. I just would like to see Heavy Rain in GTAIV environments and see if they could succeed with the same quality graphics. But in the end, story and gameplay what matters to me and I need to learn more about those. Heavy Rain looks like a survival horror game which is my second favorite genre after stealth. I hope the story and gameplay are as good as the graphics.
