Heavy Rain to feature delayed trophies

Woah I guess Quantic Dreams is really serious about immersing players into the game. I thought I should bring this to the attention of the PS3 board, remember guys the the trophies for this game will be unlocked in the breaks between the chapters. Those of you guys who love hearing the little tone when ever a trophy is unlocked are going to get spoiled in Heavy Rain, at the end of each chapter Im sure the trophies wil be shown one after the other with a *ting* for each one. Boy that could get annoying :P

lol that will probably drive me crazy to hear like 5 dings in a row after every chapter. I like the idea of not breaking up the action though. Really looking forward to the game.

Heavy Rain is my personal GOTY next year and nothing, NOTHING!!!! will change that :x. But yeah it may get annoying after a while, but it wont matter cause that game will kick so much ass! :)

A similar thing happens in DJ Hero. Your trophies unlock once the track is finished. There's several tracks in a set. I was playing DJ Hero last night and I think I unlocked about six trophies after playing through a track. When the next track started, the dings were still going off. It distracted me from the game and I completely messed up the start of the track. Getting all those trophies at once was pretty cool, though.

I think they made the right choice. I don't wanna hear that ding when I'm trying to concentrate on the story:P

Well that will help to keep the immersion. But then if you're going for the trophy... how are you gonna be able to tell you got it?????/

Well, I'm assuming you probably won't be able to unlock 5+ trophies in a single chapter anyway. The most you'd get is maybe two or three. Isn't there supposed to be 60 or so different chapters in the game?
