Help a PS3 noob out!!!

So ive recentley had an urge to buy a PS3 latley. i love my 360 and all the games for it, but i was recently watching a video for Heavy Rain and, Well here we are. so my question is should i get a PS3 or am i trippin and the urge will pass???

Also if so what games should i get first? i want to get drakes fortune and god of war and all that but should i start the 1st ones?(or 2nd, whatever)

get a PS3. period. i was in the same situation 2 years ago. i had my xbox 360 for a while, loved it.

but once i got PS3, i was immediatly hooked. blu-ray player, web browser, excellent games, free online and more.

once i had PS3, my 360 collected dust. so if you have the money to buy a PS3, do it up.

oh btw if you have a HD tv PS3 is a MUST hence the blu ray movies. (lotr on blu ray made me wanna cry)

plus the fact that you will no longer have to pay for live. live should be free, we pay for internet, we pay for electricity, paid for the 360 and yet they charge people to play online. microsoft is all about buisness. PS3 is where its at for gaming. look at the games comming up for 360, all they have now is Gears of war.

Cool. right now im just tring to get the games im missing out on. ( Heavy Rain, Infamous, etc.) any suggestions.

Make Metal Gear Solid 4 one of your first purchases, you wont regret it. For online MP, Uncharted 2 is incredibly fun. Of course theres Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Little big Planet 2 comes out real soon. Those are just some of the most well known games, I could go on, but if your not aware of them already, check out the PS3 games comin out next year, this is prolly the prime time to buy a PS3 console, especially during this time of the season, u can get a gr8 deal price wise. Also games will be on sale as well.

I think i buying one for sure. Right now Im just trying to find some games worth buying that are PS3 exculsives. Also I dont see my brother to much so im looking for games that me and him could play together. (We're not litte kids. I work days, he works nights). You guys have been really helpful keep it coming.

inFamous is a must play, and if you like shooters then you should get Killzone 2. LittleBigPlanet is surprisingly good, and Ratchet and Clank is fantastic as well.

As for games, I would recommend Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2 (not really exclusives, but if you have not tried any of them this would be the best time to do it).

Yes get a ps3, you can pick up uncharted 1 and 2 for pretty cheap now, I borrowed them both off a friend and played through them both in one sitting, there that good and they were the first games I played on my ps3. Next you want to get Infamous, dragon souls, pretty much everything people have said, if you get bored at all with waiting for games (I dont) then buy blu rays and enjoy the true beauty of home cinema.

Don't listen to these people. Wait a week and if you still have "urges" to get a PS3 by then, do it.

I've learned that from "Fat Princess". I wanted to get that game so badly back when it was released but i had no cash and was forced to wait a week. After the week went past I realized that it actually was a sucky game and I decided not get it.
