ok so, back when i first set up my wireless network i clicked automatic when it asked for the ip-address. now for some reason the ip-address is gone. i was signing online and it had an error so i tested the connection and it fails at optaining the ip-address. what is going on? and how do i find my ip-address?

i think there is something wrong with the router and the playstation 3 and the router connecting most likly the sucurity or wifi type on your router. go to scan and see if ps3 sees you router and post back

yup its probably your router, some them require you to allow access to them by going through the options on your computer and putting a password in, the ps3 should pick this up whilst scanning though

it might be your router, but you should atleast try to unplug the router from the power outlet and push the reastart button on the back......that usually fixes most problems...

The DHCP might be glitched on the router, try turing it off for a few minutes and back on.
