call of duty 4 is cool but i was never intrested in any of the other COD's and all the hype around this one made me check it out. While it is a great game its still a military FPS. and if you dont have much intrest in war or military, as i don't, it mau seem like a bore...
Personally, i say either Assassins Creed or Uncharted. ill be picking both of these games up. they are forcing me to wait till later to buy rock band, all three of those would cost over 250 and i cant afford that all at once.
i have cod4 if i had to do it again i would wait for a price drop uncharted comes out next week along with assassins creed. i personally kind of regret buying it and i was super hyped for the game. im a cod fan, the multiplayer in this in my opinion isn't as good as cod3 its just stripped down. anyways just my opinion its all about your personal taste you could always try renting it.clarkportmanken
AC comes out next week and uncharted is the following week.
It depends very much on which type you like more. Since both games are different, one is a FPS (with on-line) the other is a sandbox game (free-roaming, play at your own pace). Personally, I have to say to get both but you've indicated that you couldn't... I guess you really have to weight which you will have fun more and entertain you better.
I am sure you know exactly what both games will offer so I won't go into details about them.
COD4 has online and the new setting for online such as perks sounds really amazing. Even when the single player is short, the On-line will definitely keep you busy for a long, long time. Game-play is what you expect from a FPS but of course, is a COD game meaning gun battle will be more intense then any other shooter out there. If you into FPS more, this is a must have.
If FPS is only a pass-time, meaning not essential and you're not big for on-line battles then Assassin's Creed would be the pick of the day. It is a sandbox game, the map is huge with 3 large cities and a massive Kingdom (kind aof market place) in between the cities/ this means there will be allot of places to roam and see. Into free roaming and third person action more, this will be a keeper.
Anyway, If I have to suggest one, I would suggest COD4 due to the on-line modes. I am not big for on-line but COD4's online really got my attentions.
