HELP!! Crashed system?????!!!!!!

Just got home and turned on my ps3 for about ... 2 hours without playing a game on it. Was talking with a friend.. had my phone... a controller plugged into USB slots and then when i turned it on i was all the way to right on the XMB and sitting on my message box.... i can't move ANYWHERE!!

No button on the ps3 controller is responsive ... i was playing god of war 2 last night and i already took that out of the PS3 ... unplugged the cable and power cords out of the back of the system and tried both controllers i have. Nothing.

I have no idea what might be happening. This is perplexing me to no degree... Anyone.. HELP!! 

Your PS3 does not get on anymore at all? even with the "button" on the console?

I don't know if it will help but here's what I would do:

Closte the switch behing the PS3 for 30 sec and move it back on.

Then plug one of your controller in the PS3. Do not open a controller yet

Press on the power button of the PS3 and hold it down for 5sec until it make a beep sound

When asked for the controller press the PS button

And hope for the best =(

Navigating with a keyboard... broken contoller maybe? jacked up usb slot???? thank you. Problem solved!!!!

I had the exact problem, the way I fixed it was I turned the system right off and unplugged all USB's. I then turned it back on with no USB's connected and it worked fine. After that I reconnected all the USBs (keyboard) and that was it.

Works fine now. Try it and let me know if it works
