I'm trying to get Killzone online on my PS3 and when I bring up the online, it says I need a "Your Network Configuration file" or create a "Your Network Configuration file using the network adaptor start-up disc." Is there anyway I can do this because I have no idea where my network adaptor start-up disc?  Thanks.

You're going to need that online startup disc that came with the PS2 network adapter or the Slim PS2. Ask around, you might have a friend who has it or a gamestop or something might have some laying around. After that just put the disc in, follow the instructions and it'll save the network settings to your memory card and you'll be able to get on.

some ps2 games have that configureation in it. Example (MGS3 substance) put the disc in and set it up through the game, it works fine even wireless, i played killzone online and MGS3 online on my ps3, i think socom for ps2 can also configure the online conection too. you dont need that disc that people talk about just a game that can do it

When I booted up Socom 3 for the first time on the PS3 I didn't run into any problems. I guess that's not much help.

Little of topic,but...how exactly do I play Killzone online?Where do I get my gaming name/handle from??

And to answer the topic's question, just buy a cheap game like Warhammer:Firewarrior (you can pick it up 2nd hand for $10 since it is so awful) and use it to configure your online settings.

Most games have the start-up disc that came with the modem built into the game.

I actually used Mortal Kombat Armageddon for the config file. I think Madden games have it too. Killzone online is not that great man.

I was one of the few that liked Killzone online.  It's not that bad.

Is there like a list of games that have the online config in them somewhere?  Does SOCOM II have it?

All the Socom games have online gaming. As for the guy having problems going online with there game. There is a emulator in the PSN store that emulates the PS2 disc. Just download this firmware and the games should work like they should. I have never had a problem after doing this.

Note once the firmware is downloaded it will auto install when needed.

Can you get PS2 games online on an Aussie PS3 with software emulation, like the American 80gb ones???
