Ok here is the deal, I got a blue ray from the store today and i went to play it on the PS3 (this is the first time i've used a blue ray that is not a game) Then i put it in and pressed play. It goes to the loading screen before it plays the movie then it stops and my tv says No signal. So anybody have an idea on how to fix this?

seems it's a video output problem, check what resolution your Blu-ray movie can play and what your PS3 video settings are (and TV too)

It may that your T.V is puting Blue ray on hd channel or that your ps3 blueray is not working. What I would do is play your blue ray and after it loads see if your ps3 is still on then check other channals by pressing the T.V/video input or the source button. see if it come up. if it does'nt I would say the ps3 blue ray is not working.

hope this helps.

On the case it says that it supports 1080p. Also I have a question is there away to change the output on a tv like changing it from 1080p to like 720p or does it auto maticly do that?

I had the same problem. I rented a blue ray disk and it said no signal. So... I went to BD/DVD Settings, then BD 1080P 24Hz Output (HDMI) and changed the setting from "automatic" to "off"... Then replayed the movie, and it worked!!

Hope this helps.
