help! i think my PS3 is dead!

i was playing MW2 before and out of nowhere my PS3 turns off and the red light just started to flash without stopping, so my question is. . .

. . . is my beautiful launch PS3 dead =[

Starting to be lots of dead PS3 threads these days. Im giong to get one with some incometax in Feb and im going to get an instore warranty and any other warranty I can get.

I have been through it all too often with my 360. Bought one at launch it died within 8 months, trashed it...Bought another one 2 months later and its been repared 4x now...free...but still its a serious problem.

Im not falling for it with the PS3..Live and learn people.

Go to walmart and get a warranty for PS3. I got a 2 year warranty for 20 bucks, and that only starts after the sony one ends! So thats basically a 3 year warranty :D

sorry bout your luck man. if it was a launch one, thats still a good run. my 40 gig died in a year and a half. i got a slim with a 2 yr instore warranty from best buy to help me sleep better at night.

Does it start anymore?
