decide which game to get: Uncharted, Army of two, Assassin's creed, R & C, Orange Box, Dark Sector and UT3.monashieno
Uncharted, Dark Sector or UT3 in that order.
All you need is Uncharted. Trust me it's a must have for any PS3 owner.DJCUEBALL
This man speaks the truth - next from that list would be Ratchet and Clank - my personal second favorite PS3 game would be Resistance.
Do NOT get Army of Two. Me myself, I was going to surely get it but when I consulted reviews on many sites, and finally saw a Video Review, I saw it doesn't have the potential. It actually depends what type of game you're looking for. Uncharted looks awesome, has a great story and is a great shooter. Assassin's Creed is a great game full of glitches. I don't know much about the others, but it's better for you to look at some reviews.War-Tex
Hay i thought army of 2 was bad ass.... and if you have a friend it so much fun even more fun to play online with a friend...
Uncharted - This game delivered one of the most thrilling & fun action adventure experiences I've ever had playing video games. Some complain about the game's length but I don't see it as a flaw since it doesn't take too much of my time to go through it every once in a while (which gives it more replay value, IMO as opposed to say an 18 hour game).
Ratchet & Clank - My second favorite PS3 game. Same as Uncharted (it's the kind of game that rewards you for going through it all over again without dragging itself). The only real "flaw" (it's more of a missed opportunity than a flaw) is the lack of co-op & an online mode.
Assassin's Creed - It can be fun, it can be amazing and after you're done with it...there's no reason for going back...none at all. I was amazed by the huge cities displayed within this game, I loved the parkour part of the gameplay and I even enjoyed the sword play, it just doesn't have that certain "I don't know what" that Uncharted has.
Dark Sector - I'm really liking this game way more than I thought I would, but maybe that's because the lack of other similar game (Ps3 has WAY too many FPS, we need more 3rdPS). It plays a lot like Resident Evil 4, but with more action oriented gameplay than the latter and less horror.
The Orange Box - It packs a lot of bang for your buck, that's for sure (5 games in one). If you decide to get this, the first game you HAVE to play would be Portal, it's so much fun & addicting that you'll feel your IQ goes up every minute spend playing it. The rest of the games in the set are also good, but Portal alone makes the purchase worth it.
Army Of Two - I read the reviews of many fellow gamers (some good and others very, very bad), but I still gave a leap of faith and took the plunge. I'm glad I did. I'm currently playing this game co-op with a friend of mine and we are having a blast with it (we argue a lot because he thinks he's Rambo and always ends up killed or sometimes he takes all the bullet packs for himself, but it's so rewarding when we complete a mission and get paid to customize our guns). I still haven't played this game solo, so I recommend it for it's co-op campaign.
UT3 - It's fun as a multiplayer but the sinple player campaign is very generic & forgetable. The only complain I have is that there's no reward system (like COD4) in it's online mode. It would've been more addicting to have unlockable content for playing online, as it's the best way to have fun with it.

Army of Two was bad ass!! I haven't even had a chance to play with a friend yet and it was still awesome. I thought my AI partner was one the best examples of smart AI in any video game to date. If you're gonna base your opinion on a review, then that's pretty sad. Make your own judgements. And also, what glitches were there in Assassins Creed? That game never hitched, froze up, or crashed on me once. Perfectly fluid and also a kickass game!
