i have an older magnavox DLP tv, like 50". it's big and heavy...like 2-3 feet deep.

the TV settings are HDTV or SDTV,

1080i, or 540p

on the PS3 there is 480p, 720p, and 1080i options. (my tv doesn't support 1080p....nor does it support 480p or 720p).

my only two options on the TV are 1080i and 540p.....

i've noticed me getting kinda headaches due to the ghosting or whatever on 1080i tv, and 1080i ps3 settings.

what should i do? it obviosly looks the best at 1080i/1080i....but i hate the interlacing....

should I do 540p on TV settings and 720p on ps3 settings? or 480p on ps3? thanks!

The size of your DLP is also making it look bad, I would try the 540p/720p idea you had

1080i looks crappy no matter what

BTW, Circuit City is closing and you could probably find a good HDTV LVD dirt cheap

thanks.

i would hope that the 540p (tv) and 720p (ps3) would be better than 540p (tv) and 480p (ps3)
