Help me improve my ps3 collection!!

Don't have much

MGS 4

Resistance 1

Assassins creed

Infamous

Killzone 2

R and C future (beat dont own)

Uncharted (beat dont own)

I prefer to get in on a series of games from the beggining, so if u have a reccomendation that is already into a series make sure A) it really doesnt matter all that much like FF B) really worth playing prior games like MGS

Well you could get Resistance 2 if you liked the first one. Theres also Killzone 2, BioShock, or Far Cry 2 if your into FPS. Also Resident Evil 5 is decent, not as good as RE4 by any means but if you haven't played RE4 do know how good it is, do so now. Ive heard nothing but great things about Valkyria Chronicles but I don't own it, the demo was great though.tman93

I was kinda thinking about RE 5 to play with a bud... also considering RE2 or KZ2.. which do you think has better graphics/gameplay/online

Well, I only played the beta for Resistance 2 (Im assuming you ment Resistance by RE). Killzone 2 has better graphics for sure, gameplay for campaign I can't say Killzone 2 is decent. I enjoyed online for both. tman93

Bioshock, GTA4, Fallout 3 - All must have games IMO. I know GTA4 and Fallout 3 are part of a series but you really don't need to play the previous games to get into them.

Bioshock...you owe it to yourself to at least give the game a chance...

Other games to check out: Killzone 2, DeadSpace, Oblivion and Street Fighter 4 (street Fighter 4 is a must have for me lol)

Uhm...in terms of "bang for your buck" i'd suggest the following:

• Orange box: you could probably find it for under $20 if you look hard enough...it has HL2, HL2 ep 1, HL2 ep 2, Portal and TF2... (that's basically the entire half life series save for the first game)

• Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (hybrid FPS): Its not the kind of game that appeals to everyone but If you loved Escape from butcher bay last gen, then you'll love this one. (it has a complete remake of EFBB as well as Dark Athena (the sequel)...so basically its two games in one ... the multiplayer portion of the game sucks though...so if you don't mind that ...give it a chance.

You might like Dark Sector as long as you're not playing it for the story.

meh sounds like killzone then. cant wait for some new games to come out.. none of these really appealed to me.. however, I dont really know anything about games like VC and fall out 3 BC people just say "OMG SO GOOD". im passing up all those for KZ2 unless anyone can do some last minute pursuading to save me from myself

Valkyria Chronicles has an amazing story with equally amazing graphics. The gameplay is very fun, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

VC is one of the best games i ever played

Prototype, Red Faction Guerilla, Orange Box, etc.

considering: fallout 3 and VC

You won't regret dropping 29.99$ (I think?) on Valkyria Chronicles, its a very unique game in its genre (SRPG) and has excellent art style/game play. It will probably be something you have never played before and an experience you will always remember. Don't get me wrong though every game mentioned in this thread is worth the time and money.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot

It is a great game, a shooter with emphasis on melee fights and horror elements. It has very thick atmosphere. The only unfortunate thing is that Condemned 1 is not a PS3 game. You can check it on PC though. It is old enough now that it will run on pretty much anything.

you just get to run through a sort of maze kinda you have to grab stuff find stuff jump and avoid stuff and make awesome faces, its really for a casual gamer but hardcore gamers love the game because its just funny and cool looking and and and you can essentially make ANYTHING in this game if you want to you can make your own maps share them online and play peoples maps online for free and they are really creative like left for dead theme ummmm no gravity themed ones the list goes on and on about LBP and the costumes and extras you can find in the game you just have to buy it if you own a ps3

Well Graphics belong to killzone 2 (graphics king). Gameplay is a matter of what genre do you really want because both pretty good. Online also goes to Killzone 2.
