My PSP is not showing any lights at all when it is plugged into the power. I have tried using a different adapter and I have tried the adapter with the battery pack taken out. I do not do homebrew and have not ever tried to downgrade my firmware so it isn't something I downloaded or installed on it. The PSP is no longer under warranty and I can't afford to replace it so I'm perfectly ok opening it up and trying different things. It can't get any more broken than it is now.

What am I, PSP Jesus? :) I suggest contacting Sony Edit: Even out of warranty, there may be service options that are cheaper than buying a new one

I have contacted sony and they will send me a new one for $90. I have considered it, but you never know the technical level of the other people posting on here. I know its grasping at straws but there might be someone out there who knows.

I'll just have to call them back and do that, that is once I can get together the money. Its just really annoying.
