I had the same problem. I quit the game using the PS button then went back and everything was fine.

This has happened to me, does it say anything about the router's security settings? If so you may need to change the DMZ settings on your router.

Well I'm not good at explaining this stuff but i'll try. Do a search on the exact model of your router, and copy the address which should be something like 192. some other numbers. Then on the side find DMZ and you'll have to enter in a password, if one hasn't been set then just leave it blank and push enter. There should be a space to type in a digit. The number you need to type in is under system information on your PS3 under the IP address (it is the last number, should be something like 2, 4, etc.) Having that number in there should fix the problem if it was something security related. Sorry if my explaination wasn't clear enough lol. It's all I remember doing to fix my Nat type.

I have Embarq and had no problem getting a NAT 2 connection once I found the IP address to the modem. The thing is the modem comes set to run as a router and creates a conflict with any router. Went into the settings and changed the connection to a bridged connection and this fixed the problem. As for any other problems there is a link under my uses name that links to a very good help forum with network problems and fixes.
