My friend has recently purchuased a PS3. ANd i have been looking at buyin one also. I just dont know if it is worth it no offense. i feel like im steppin into something that i have no clue about since i have a xbox360. i love the xbox 360 and its amazing capabilities. i bought a wii worst decision i made since it was terrible i dont wanna make that same mistake again. But i feel like its time to take a jump into another console. Please no fanboy advice that is the reason why i am posting a forum. I asked a gamestop employee that owns both systems and he sayhs the ps3 is garbage but he told me some lies that the ps has crappy graphics which is bs because evrything in the ps3 is more advanced then whats in the xbox360. my question is it worth the money whats some kool things about it what kinda bad things does it have and my biggest concern is multiplayer. thanx.
In the next year, you will see the PS3 pull ahead of the 360 in terms of graphics and exclusive titles. I was an 360 owner since launch, and I bought a PS3 in December 2008, and its now my favourite console (I own all 3)

Well graphics wise...it is the graphics king right now as in Killzone 2. I can't really think about any bad things. I recommend having an HDTV for it. The multiplayer...nothing to complain about.
how bout multiplayer how is it can u have a friends list inFamousKillah
The multiplayer is great and it is free. You do have a friends list and you can see their profile, trophies, voice chat, text chat, etc. You can have a six person video chat too with your friends. If you don't all have webcams or PS3 eyes then the chat will just be six people audio or some can have video. It's a lot of fun lol. The PS store is great and you don't have any stupid points, just prices which is nice.

just from your name and pic i'm guessing you'll be picking up inFAMOUS. man that's a game that i think the majority of gamers are underhyping, although there are a lot of ppl who are overhyping it. there's a lot of great exclusives in the coming months, so now was probably a great time to pick up a ps3. infamous is just scratching the surface.
oh yeah and a cool thing you can do is stream music from your computer to your ps3. i forget how to set it up, but i use it and it saves a lot of space and you can enjoy all your music.

yeah i bought infamous played it today amazing its a 10 i think the graphics are gorgeous on 1080i idk whatever exclusives are comin out this summer but hey idc cauz i own both systems i hate the wii use to own it its a piece of **** and im still pissed at nintendo and its been like a year they went from such great systems to a wand based ****
I sold my 360 bout a month ago and bought a ps3 and it is the best thing i ever did its well worth the price, plus sony are gonna wiss past microsoft ont eh capibilities, online play and games
