I recieved Error #80010516 stating there was an error during the startup operation when I ejected a disc when it was first loading up. Just wondering if it has done any damage to my system. Thanks for the posts!

Yeah it still appears to be working fine I'm just wondering if it is a real serious thing to avoid. All I did was leave a disc in the system when I turned it off and when I turned it back on I didn't want to play that game so I ejected it pretty quickly and I got that error and then returned it to the main system screen.

the PS3 was built like a tank, takes a licken and keeps on ticken (a Timex tank that is :P)

i always eject the disc before i shut of the console, but when i've taken the disc out while its loading or in-game i get an error. no harm though. it should be fine. maybe just make sure to eject the disc before you shut it down.
