Help!!! PS3 arrived with memory stick slots cover broken off!

Well i picked up my PS3 yesterday and when I oppened it up the the Memory Stick slots cover was broken off and lying at the bottom of the box! =[

It doesn't seem as if it has snapped at all, just looks as if it has came off, can anyone tell me how to get it back on? Thanks.

If u send to Sony minum 2 weeks to return my PS3 broke also. In store u might be able to exhange it though. SOny will have no problamos

I live far away from the store, plus, I ripped the box in half so I don't think they will take it back, I might try phoning Sony.Flam3Thr0w3r

Why would you rip the box in half on a brand new console when you knew you might have to return it for some reason or another?

What if it didn't turn on in the first place? You might not be able to return it without the box, I dunno.

you ripped the box? dude, i was excited when i got my ps3, but.....

i would still play it. i leave mine up half the time, anyway, its still an amazing gaming console

Why would you do that? Seriously that's you're own fault if they dont take it back. You can easily take the PS3 out of the box without damaging the box.

happened to me when i 1st bought mine except it was a huge f**kin crack across the playstation 3 logo. i went back to the store they said it could happened during shipment exchanged and it was no problem. but before i left the store the guy made me check the box to see if everything was fine.

now if u ripped ur box up then i dun kno
