Help me out, I can't decide whether to buy R2 or CoD5. I liked both RFoM and CoD4, offline story game modes, but I also play both online often and love them. Does anyone have both? If so, which one is better online and why? Can you still play capture the flag on R2? Are there better maps on CoD?
The single player campaign of R2 is way better than COD 5, but the latter has a more fun multiplayer imo. It all depends on what you place more importance on :single or multiplayer.
I am all for exclusives, been an advid ps3 owner since launch, whcih speaks for itself as I camped out at Target in the heavy as rain for 2 nights, but I am trying to get the most bang for my buck!
well purchased my copy of R2 about three days ago. didn't get much sleep since then lol. co-op and competitive mode was too addicting! i havent got far with the single player mode yet, but so far so good. and as for cod5 i haven't tried it yet.
Id say get Ressistence 2... 64 players online.... + Full clan support and thats just breaking the surface.
Call of Duty WOW im sure is a good game but, it's not by the same people who made COD4MW, and alot of people still prefer COD4 over WOW anyway so if i was you just pick up R2 and wait for a price drop on COD4. :D
i have the both and i think you must buy resistance and cod5 if you dont have a money wait two month for kill zone 2 . why ? because cod5 it is great game but it just like the same on cod4 but you have now dogs online but the story mode is great . but in resistance 2 it is great in story and online. but kill zone 2 will be the best FPS never made
Seriously the story mode of R2 really suck. RFOM was 100 times better. And by the way the campaign is pretty tough a lot more than RFOM because you died very easily (very to realistic not the type of game for).
Now for the multiplayer the coop mode is very fun with 8 player. And the multiplayer is quite good but not as addictive as COD4 and 5 trust me on that.
Either it could be very frustrating because when you play 60 players you died to many times so it is not fun at all.
Anyway R2 still a great game but i think that the COD 4 and 5 still a lot better on the multiplayer.
own both of these games and personally i liked cod waw so much better than r2 in single player campaign and also in online as well. But it all comes down to what you want cod waw is the best ww2 game out there and r2 is great aliens vs humans game like halo.
The only gripe with R2 is probably the Campaign (not as solid as R:FoM) and broken competitive. Match making is on and off, one minute it's perfect, the next it's way off: Example: - You Select TEAM DEATHMATCH + SMALL. They give you TEAM DEATHMATCH (Check) but 20 on 20 (Wtf?). - You Select TEAM DEATHMATCH + SMALL. They give you TEAM DEATHMATCH (Check), 5 on 5 (CHECK), but it's you and 4 privates versus 2 Generals (Wtf?). - You Select TEAM DEATHMATCH + SMALL. They give you TEAM DEATHMATCH (Check), 10 on 10 (CHECK), but it's you and a bunch of randomers versus a clan (Wtf?) Other than that R2 is amazing. As of now I just own R2 but I really want to get COD: WaW.
COD4 > R:FOM R2 > COD:WAW Resistance 2 is so much fun online. Everyone says how fun it is to level up on co-op, but I have been too busy playing competitive. The campaign is great too. This is my game until KZ2 drops. If KZ2 isn't as good as R2, oh well back to R2.

well if that's true than go for R2. If you loved COD4 but started to get tired of it, than you'll just get more tired of it. I regret buying it :( same modes except for nazi zombies, but it's so dam hard to join a game... oh and R2 because you wanna play the story mode(to know what happens duh), but the COD5 story mode is great too.
