So I hooked up component cables today with a little trouble, but finally got them. I tried playing COD4 but the screen became fuzzy when I did and runny across the screen. I then played the Call of Juarez demo, which worked fine. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with COD4. I tried it again but no luck. Also why is the XMB so small now?

Sounds like you got the really cheap cables. I have the MadKatz one and before i switched to HDMI I had no problems at all.

The smaller XMB is because you are running in a higher resolution. The rest sounds weird. Maybe you just got a bad cable, but that wouldn't explain why it's just with COD4. What kind of a tv do you have and what resolutions do you have selected in the display options?

I figured out it was just downscaling to 720p which my TV didn't support. Thanks for the help guys. And could Sony make a patch to make the XMB bigger in 1080i?
