Ok so i have went through alot of defferent setups,DMZ,ports forward, bridged etc.Nothing seems to get me lower than NAT 3.Sorry for not telling earlier but my set up is embarq/centurylink DSL embarq 660 modem, linksys WRT54G v5 wireless router.I have no issues with any of my wireless stuff "exept not being able to accept or send invites on certain games to certain people on my ps3".When i did call tech today 2 hr call we bridged the modem but after that i couldnt connect to internet with any of my wireless stuff. If someone could please give me some advise it would be nice.If not what would be the best budget freindly replacements for my modem and router. Thanks to all who help.

Ihave the same modem and DSL service. I saw your post on the Playstation forums yesterday and stated what I had to do. The thing you posted about not being able to use the wifi portion of the router could be because you need to need to do a power down/reset of the router after setting the modem to a bridged connection. I had to reset my router after changeing the modem. The IP needs to be updated after bridgeing the modem before you can do much with the wifi settings. Note I tried going into the Playstation forums today and they must be doing some changes to the forums while doing the maintanence this time.

Try enabling UPnP on both router and console.
