hermit getting a PS3 tommarow any suggestions for games ???

Hi guys im gettting a PS3 tommarow because of Dark Sector and MGS4 and im bored of Crysis lol, im also thinking of buying Resistance with it but hows online with that game still kicking ? Also which version should i pick up the 80Gig or 40Gig and i wont be playing PS2 games on it since i got one laying around somewhere. Also any other suggestions on what other games i should grab or something coming soon ?

And yea, get Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Call of Duty 4

And yes, Resistance is still great after year. And get Devil May Cry 4 in a week.

Games I have:

-Marvel Ultimate Alliance = Nope. Got it at launch but definitely not worth getting now.

-Oblivion = Yup. But as a hermit, you've probably already played it.

-Warhawk = I'm not a huge fan of Warhawk. I'd say pass. But you may want to give it a shot.

-AC = I'd vote for rent. Certainly an interesting game but even paying Best Buy's price of $40 seems steep for something so repetitive.

-Burnout Paradise = Not being familiar with the Burnout franchise, I found this game to be a lot of fun.

that being said, if you could only pick one, I'd vote for (and assuming you haven't played it on PC)

-COD4 = Single player is kinda short but the online experience is fantastic. And a bonus for those who may be coming from other consoles, it's free to play this version online. Outstanding game, well worth the $50 I paid.

Thank you people! i just returned from Best Buy with ma PS3 ! I got Uncharted, Warhawk, Resistance and Ninja Gaiden man the system is sexy so shiny! Oh by the way i got the 40GIG its good enough for now since money is tight becuase i just build another pc which cost me and arm and a leg. But next week im sure i will grabe some more games. Also i see alot of you guys mentioning COD4 i got that for the pc awesome game and 60 player matches are unbeliavalby crazy lol and Oblivion which i still didnt beat such a long game and as for UT3 its not my cup of tea. My next purchase would be Folklore , DMC4, Ratcher and Clank and Dark Sector whenever that comes out.

Why? For $100 I'm perfectly willing to sacrifice a game I don't want (Motorstorm), 2 USB ports, and 40gb of hard drive space (which is easily replaced for cheaper). I buy a lot of movies, so I get the BluRay remote for free anyway via rebate. I'm not interested in backwards compatibility either. I would think anyone in my shoes would make the 40gb choice just like I did.

Hmm well if you're looking for good multiplayer then Warhawk, COD 4, and Unreal Tournament 3 are great options. With UT3 you may feel right at home becuase of keyboard and mouse and mods, but they're all great. Also, you should at least try out Uncharted Drake's Fortune, considered by many to be the best ps3 exclusive. Otherwise, there are ton of great ps3 games coming out within the next year, so they'll be plenty of ways to keep busy. If you already have a ps2, then you may want to save $100 and buy the 40, unless you want the extra ports and card slots. The HDD can be upgraded easily if you feel the need. Otherwise, I hope it all goes well. Shaqneel
