I already have a 360 and is my favorite console. had a wii but sold it because all wii games are short boring and most are not online. Now the ps3 looks awsome but i would like to know whats different between the ps3 and 360 that makes the ps3 better. by the way i have a psp so I would be able to use the conectivity features brtween the psp and ps3. By the way the psp is awsome and so is kill switch engage.

man, i'm sorry you have to get so much hate for asking this sort of question here, but those of use who frequent the ps3 section are just up to our eyeballs in threads along this line. most of the time it is because someone wants to start a fight. you may actually have come here just to get some honest opinions but sadly those honest opinions have been repeated to the point were it almost hurts. The link i provided in the previous post talks about this, and that is why in that post it suggests you goto SW. i know its a pretty hatefull place, but it is where the fanboys go to defend their consoles honor so it maybe the place to find out answers. sure you will have to waid through the blatant, unsupported love/hate, but you may find the answers to your question.
oh and when doing a comparison like this between two peices of electronics, it is usually best to just compare the specs and self-analyize the potential to your own parameters. you needs/likes are going to be vastly different from anyone on the boards.

If you're serious and not trolling, then take a look at some these posts which lists some good reasons. It has great games coming out this holiday, not to mention 08' is pure gold in terms of games with MGS 4, FF 13, GT 5, Tekken 6 etc etc the list goes on. The console is great, the hardware is reliable, don't have to worry about rrod like 360. Furthermore, it's got free online with reliable and dedicated servers, as opposed to 360 and wifi standard, again unlike 360. Furthermore if you have an hdtv, or once you get one, blu-ray movies are purely stunning to watch on the standard blu-ray drive in the ps3, you don't have to pay for an additional accesory unlike 360 again. I hope I could help.
