Hey Guys go try out the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Demo its GREAT!!

Thia demo is really cool. It just makes me even more wanting to go and buy this game. But I hope they put multiplayer co-op which I doubt for the story mode in the game. But its really good and the graphics look good (for this type of game) It sets the standard for other Gundam games (that appear like this) and for Dynasty warrior and Samurai ... of the same nature. Also unlike Dynasty Warriors there is no framerate problems or enemies just poping from the distance. It feels great and fluid I like flying in the air craft and the combos are pretty good but I know that they are going to be better when the actual game comes out.

Please people give this game a chance and try it. The download might take a while but the demo is enjoyable have fun with it and I hope the demo makes you like the game.

And please don't judge it based on the Dynasty Warriors Series because they both have distinct similarities but also distinct differences. Thank you.

It is repetitive but to me its not repeptitive like movie based games and its still fun probably because there is alot going on and messages etc that it doesn't get boring.

And the combos are pretty good I mean in this demo there is only 1 person but if you see videos from gametrailers there are alot of cool looking combos and musou moves

I own the Japanese equivalent, and yes the game is pretty good. Multiplayer is one of its perks, you can play through the Orignal and Official modes in mulitplayer.

Once you beat the game with one gundam a number of others with varying skill sets and weapons become available to you. This adds a lot in the ways of replay value, missions change based on what Gundam you choose, special moves and weapons change and it makes the game a lot of fun.

I have beaten the game with 2 different Gundam and really that was enough for me. Some of the missions last 20-25 min and you can only kill drones for so long. However as the levels progress the difficulty of beating them progress. Its pretty well put together and there are a number of combos listed in the instruction manual, all of which will vary based on the skill sets chosen.

Overall its a good game if you enjoy the Dynasty Warrarior style games and like the Gundam aspect of it...

If you dont like Dynasty Warriors you wont like this game.

The AI is a big improvement from Dynasty Warrior games at least your comrade do something and help you instead of just you against the world. Also the enemy drones do attack and the bosses do put up fights but nothing for you not to handle and if you say its crap than try it on hard mode when the game comes out. Also in Dynasty Warriors sometimes you had to rescue your comrades all the time but now they can handle themselves for the most part.

It was fun for the first like 5 min. Then it got REALLY boring. There was like only 2 combos in the game, the graphics reminded me of a PS2 game, and the AI kinda sucked.

But yeah... I didn't really like it.

I agree killing drone after drone wasnt much fun. It loses its appeal very fast. I guess if your a gundam fan its not a bad game but from my point of view its a medicore hackn'slash.

Actually there are way more than two combos... should've tried looking at the combo list to understand how combos work in this game. And if I understand correctly, you will be able to gain new abilities as you upgrade your robot.

Anyway, this game probably won't appeal to ppl who weren't already fans of EITHER dynasty warriors OR gundam. But if you like either one than the game is pretty sweet... particularly for gundam fans. This is the only gundam game that I've liked so far.

Personally, I wouldn't give it more than 7.3-8.0.... but it still feels worth buying. I'll be picking it up just to follow the story and collect all the different gundams. The combat is no more repetitive than any other past DW games.... the appeal is in killing as many enemies as possible and looks good while doing it. The AI is also comparable to past dynasty games, you get attacked but it rarely gets overwhelming until you face a tough boss.

It's fun but the graphics really suck. Also the regular enemies are too easy and the bosses are too hard.

I would not jump up and call it "GREAT". It's fun if you're into hack/slash games & the gundam series. I would not buy this game, but the demo was fun while it lasted. Glad heero & Zechs/Miliardo Peacecraft was in it with Epyon.

Exactly. I've been a fan of the dynasty warrior games since the first one, but I only bought two of them b/c all of them are pretty similar. I also like the Gundam anime. This game breathes some freshness into the DW franchise and so far is turning out to be the best Gundam experience I've had in a LOOONG while.

The complaints that ppl are giving are the same that would apply to ANY DW game... so if you were expecting it to besignificantly differentthan any past installments of DW (other than the setting & characters), that's the only way I could see you being dissapointed.

I hated the fact that you played as hiro, instead as some better character *wish it was char, but thats in the full game*. Though heres my problem, the game is basically its own story. It doesn't follow any real series at all. Cool that most of the english pioneer voice actors returned for this game, but not all. I noticed domons voice is different. Though I'll probably leave it in japanese most of the time anyways.

Still, I already knew it was going to look a bit last gen since musou was announced *with screenshots* right after crossfire was released in japan. Cutscenes and characters text boxes art look good though.

yup, really, really sucks. by far worst demo on PS3

This demo changed my mind completly about the game. I saw the vids on gametrailers and though wow this is going to suck, but after the demo I changed my mind. The game is fun and the boss AI and partner AI is pretty darn good. I also like that you can do team special. The game is colorful and looks good much better then a PS2 game. There is no sign of slowdown what so ever it runs really smooth and also the voice acting is great none sounds like they are just phoning it in.I think this game would get a 7-7.5 which is fine. Im not expecting a 8 and up. I think this game is worth a purchase for gundam fans and proboly none gundam fans.finalfantasy94

This game will definitely get below 6.0 because of the teribble and monotonous backgrounds. I highly doubt there will be hugely varied enviroments.

yea thats the best gundam game i've played so far. its a lot of fun. all my friends haev it on psp and ps2 (import/yea u know what i mean). sick sick game, requires a lot of skill.

Right on the dynasty warriors name. But musou is just warriors right? Meaning translated, it'd be gundam: warriors and that sounds more correct than dynasty warriors added to it. Theres no chinese dynasty or anything like that in the game.

There are 2 modes one follows the Real Gundam timeline and the second mode the one on the demo mixes characters and storylines from the Gundam arc
