The way I see "HOME", it's an interactive gamer tag that allows you to virtually do all the things on your PS3 in a virtual world. I take it like running windows dos (PS3 without home) but then having "home"(a 3d interactive gui interface ).

I've read what i can about home, yet i still don't see anything other than a 3d chat room with minimal activity.
Comparisons to second life are shallow at best. As far as features and functionality, second life blows home out of the water. A comparison to Furcadia (look it up) seems more reasonable. Â
It is a virtual reality(VR) enivornment like a mmorg game (look at WOW, City of Heroes) Instead of just seeing bulletin boards and a list of your accomplish, HOME will be a mmorg game but with no quest. You do get to walk about and chat with other people. Also you can build you own apartment/house like in the SIMS games. You can outfit your place with furniture and trophies (like accomplishment). You can join VR movie theatre with other people and watch clip. This is pretty basicly what HOME is... see below to the future.
People are only see HOME in its basic form. What if they allow the avatar (which is you) to wield a sword and shield inside HOME to fight dragons. Or wield a pistol like Counterstrike. Or step into a Robot like Lost Planet. Or get into a jetfighter or starfighter and fly around. Look at Warhawk. Or just change your costume to a superhero and give your powers like in City of Heroes.  That would make HOME a mmorg game, wouldn't it?
